What is stored

Your account email and authentication information are handled by Supabase. Event names, dates, minimal runner names/check-in status, tasks, and draft briefings are stored in the app’s managed database. Hosting is provided through Cofounder and Vercel. Operators and infrastructure providers may access data to operate and troubleshoot the service.

Private drafts, deliberate publication

Your captain workspace is restricted to your signed-in account. Publishing creates a public copy of the briefing fields shown in the review screen—not the roster or task list. Anyone may read or save a published briefing. Unpublishing removes the live copy, but cannot recall screenshots, PDFs, or other copies someone already saved.

Keep sensitive information out

Use only names or nicknames you have permission to store. Do not add medical data, emergency-contact information, home addresses, payment information, or details about children. Use the organizer’s official resources for safety, eligibility, race rules, and timing. This tool is not an emergency service or official race guide.

An early, free pilot

No payment is required and no subscription is created. Features and availability may change. This pilot does not yet provide automatic reminders, multi-captain access, self-service account deletion, or password-recovery support. Do not use it as the sole record of critical instructions; keep a printed or saved copy and the organizer’s official guide.

Cookies and measurement

Essential authentication cookies keep you signed in. This release does not configure advertising trackers or behavioral analytics. Infrastructure providers may retain operational request logs. You can download your saved event data and permanently delete individual events in your captain workspace. Event deletion removes its live public briefing too, but cannot recall copies others saved. Provider backups and logs may remain under their retention policies. Your account remains until removed by an operator; a public support and account-deletion-request process must be established before broader launch.
